Photo Editing
In the days when photographs on film were the norm, there was not much you could do to make
images look better except place the photographs in a beautiful picture frame or album.
Also, photographs once taken could not be changed, and you may even have unwanted artifacts
in the pictures, like a cat running across the yard or a bird flying overhead! What do you do now?
Today, there are software programs for editing photographs that allow us to take digital images,
and edit the images to make them look more visually appealing. Computer software programs also have
the ability to take scanned images of old film photography, convert them to digital images, and
digitally restore them by removing blemishes and enhancing the contrast. There are a number of
other modifications available as well.
